AoKids Taita

AoKids Taita offers warm and welcoming early learning for tamariki aged 6 months to 6 years, operating Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm.

As the founding centre of our organisation, AoKids Taita supports children across all stages of their early learning journey within nurturing and culturally grounded environments. Guided by strong Pacific values, the centre has a deep sense of community connection, where relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community are at the heart of all that we do.

Our caring and diverse team are committed to creating spaces where children feel safe, valued, supported, and confident to learn, grow, and thrive.

At AoKids Taita, our original and longest-standing centre, we offer dedicated under 2 and over 2 learning environments designed to support children at each stage of their development. The centre features a large outdoor area shaded by established trees, providing tamariki with a natural and protected space for play, exploration, and learning.

AoKids Taita is grounded in the work and vision of Mama Violesolo Toaetolu, whose leadership and service created early learning opportunities for families within the community.

Her work reflects the foundation of what early learning looked like for many of our families and spaces built through care, relationships, and a deep commitment to children and their futures.

AoKids Taita continues this legacy.
