About The Centre

AoKids Naenae offers warm and welcoming early learning for tamariki aged 6 months to 6 years, operating Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Our centre provides safe, caring, and nurturing environments that support children throughout every stage of their learning journey. Reflecting the diverse cultures within our community, we create spaces where tamariki and whānau feel respected, included, valued, and connected.

Our experienced and passionate kaiako bring their own strengths and teaching expertise, alongside a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and culturally responsive practice. Grounded in relationships, culture, and belonging, we support children to grow in confidence, identity, and independence in environments where they feel safe to learn, explore, and thrive.

Foundation

AoKids Naenae, previously known as Naenae Aoga Amata, is a Samoan language nest founded by the Naenae Aoga Amata Incorporated Society community leaders passionate about preserving Samoan language and culture for their children.

It reflects early learning for many of our families spaces built through alofa, relationships, and a strong commitment to culture and identity.

AoKids Naenae continues this legacy, nurturing whanau to feel safe, supported, and confident in who they are.

Now re-opening as AoKids Naenae, we honour this foundation while continuing the legacy under AoKids providing quality early learning in a safe, culturally grounded environment where children can grow and thrive.
